Join Hisham, Head of Shoe Design at Zee, for an introduction to the technical side of shoe design. Get a closer look at how footwear ideas take shape, from understanding the basic types of shoe sketches and the components that make up a shoe to translating your concept into a technical package that communicates your design to a factory.
This is a one-day introductory workshop focused on the design process, industry knowledge, and the language of footwear development. You won't be making a physical shoe; instead, you'll learn what goes into planning and communicating a design before production begins.
Materials are not provided; you'll need to bring a sketchbook, pens, pencils, and tracing paper.
