In collaboration with Seggada, we're bringing Arabic calligraphy into a different medium. Guided by Mr. Mohamed Al-Sheemy, you'll explore the fundamentals of Arabic calligraphy before transforming your lettering into a hand-painted rug to take home.
You'll begin by practicing an Arabic calligraphy style of your choice on paper, learning letterforms, balance, and composition. Once you're comfortable, you'll choose a handcrafted rug and use acrylic paint to create your own finished calligraphy piece.
