Join us for Make It Yours, a community celebration of creativity, self-expression, and conscious fashion. Organized by Fashion Revolution Egypt (FRE), Fashion Revolution Sudan (FRS), and Livable Earth in partnership with ElAshry Studios, this full-day event invites participants to rethink their relationship with clothing through hands-on workshops, discussions, garment personalization, swapping, mending, and sustainable fashion experiences.
Whether you're interested in learning new skills, refreshing your wardrobe, exploring sustainable fashion, or simply meeting like-minded creatives, Make It Yours offers a full day of interactive activities designed to help you express your style while making more conscious choices.
Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to personalize garments, repair and transform old clothes, participate in global sustainability workshops, discover your personal style and color palette, swap clothing with others, and even walk the runway showcasing your favorite sustainable looks.

- 🛍 Read Between the Seams Talk (5:00–6:00 PM) – Learn how to evaluate clothing quality, design, and pricing to make smarter purchasing decisions.
- 🚶🏻♀️ Celebrate Your Style Runway Show (6:00–7:00 PM) – Showcase your swapped, thrifted, mended, or upcycled outfits alongside designers from the Mn Qomash Scholarship Program.

- 🧩 Textile Untangled Workshop (2:00–5:00 PM | 500 EGP) – Explore the environmental and social impact of the global fashion industry through an internationally recognized interactive workshop.
- 👟 Stitch & Step: Mend Your Sneakers (2:00–5:00 PM | 850 EGP) – Transform old canvas sneakers through visible mending, Sashiko-inspired stitching, and creative upcycling.
- 👖 Skinny to Flare Workshop (3:00–5:00 PM | 450 EGP) – Learn simple hand-sewing techniques and turn an old pair of skinny jeans into stylish flared pants.
